2. CANVA for Creating Graphics
This is a tool many bloggers are familiar with. The FREE version of Canva is all you need to create graphics for blog posts, as well as cool pins for PINTEREST, and social media posts for FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM.
Canva is full of free templates to use for any kind of graphics you need as a blogger.
You can create custom graphics by using the custom dimension tool where you can start from scratch, template free
This tool has lots of font and color options plus many of the extra graphics like shapes and stickers are free, as well as an integrated stock photo tool from Unsplash.

3. Google Analytics
You really need to use a free analytics tool like google analytics. It will tell you a lot about your blog, your readers, and what you're doing right and what needs improvement.
I still see many bloggers who aren't using Google Analytics and they're missing out on crucial data.
Here's what google analytics tell you:
what posts are bringing the most traffic to your website
see what people are searching for on your site
the return on investment for campaigns
how many views you get
find out what the worst-performing posts are
user experience
so much more, so make sure you create an account
Once you begin to analyze the data, you can start to set goals based on your blog's performance. This information also helps you plan future blog posts and see what your readers want more of. It's a great way to prepare your site for more traffic.
4. Grammarly for Spelling & Grammar
This is probably the most important tool for bloggers!! Let me tell you why...
Blog posts full of typos and incorrect grammar are a nightmare to read. Grab the free Grammarly app, and it will check all your writing for you, and trust me you will definitely see an improvement. It's little things like comma splices that can take your writing from great to blah...trust me when I tell you that people NOTICE ERRORS!
I personally upgraded to Premium Grammarly but that's because I write for a living and it makes my life so much easier, especially since I type too fast sometimes.
5. Keyword Suggestion Tool
Try UBERSUGGEST by Neil Patel. This is a great SEO tool for all bloggers because it tells you lots of free information about keywords and how they are being used.
Just type in a keyword you want to use and it will share insight with you...
As the website tells users:
From head terms to long-tail phrases you’ll get hundreds of suggestions from our free keyword tool. You’ll also see volume, the competition, and even seasonal trends for each keyword.
Give this tool a try and my suggestion is to keep refreshing and starting over with each new keyword you search.
It shows you the keyword difficulty - meaning how hard it is for you to rank for that particular keyword - the higher the number, the more competitive is so aim for lower competition keywords.
also shows the search volume which is how many people search for that keyword, the higher the search volume, the better, because it means people are looking up that topic
I hope you are using these free tools to get more traffic to your blog!
We LOVE Canva! I have been using Photoshop for over a decade and once I tried Canva, it is RARE fir me to even boot Photoshop anymore! Thanks for great tips!
